ArtQuest is GREEN HILL CENTER'S hands-on art gallery for children and families, with interactive exhibits, open art studio activities, camps, workshops, birthday parties, and more! Children can learn as they explore the process of art. ArtQuest has much to offer your school with our innovative outreach programs and school field trips. ArtQuest is a sensory adventure through color, light, line, texture, and IDEAS!
The arts provide a natural and often under- utilized means for education and self expression. ArtQuest engages the curiosity and imagination of visitors of all ages as they actively explore the educational exhibits in the gallery and in the ArtQuest Studio. Creation and exploring art processes provide opportunities for children to become capable and successful problem solvers. ArtQuest is a sensory adventure through color, light, line, texture, and ideas.
	At ArtQuest Families have the opportunity to discover the excitement of making art together. Whether building a castle or working on the loom, there are plenty of opportunities for learning and fun. Although ArtQuest is for families every day, each Wednesday evening from 5 -7 pm is Family Night and open free to the public.
ArtQuest was designed in conjunction with the NC Department of Education Visual Arts Guidelines and compliments the Course of Study for the elementary grades.
$5.00 per person. Ages 1 and under free. $4.00 with prescheduled group of 12 or more. A Green Hill membership includes membership and free admission to ArtQuest	Monday: 9:30 am - 12:30 Tues. - Sat.: 12:30 - 5:00 pm Extended hours Wednesdays: 5 - 7 pm (Family night, free admission) ArtQuest reserves Sundays for pre-scheduled private parties Group visits 9:00 am - 12:15 pm Monday - Friday. Open Mondays for scheduled tours.
